Subsequently occupied by Dr Brenton Groves and wife. Brenton was a lecturer at GIAE and wife an inspirational teacher at YHS.

About 4 kids of whom I can only remember the very cute daughter, Marilyn

The Wingrave family moved in about my 5th birthday (1949). Alwin Cox & my father Lloyd picked us up from the train at Moe. Yes I still remember the views mentioned by Gordon in the above posting. Our stay lasted approx. 10 years when my parents decided to move to Yallourn North. After I married my wife Heather,we with new baby,Andrew, moved to 21 Southway for a short time. Some childhood memories are of the community bon fire at the old tip each year,going to the old swimming pool & getting covered in mud,the Saturday afternoon matinee at the picture theatre to name a few. I stiil regard Yallourn as my home.
