Melville Clifford Hoath was my 1st cousin 1 time removed. He was much loved by my mother who was his 1st cousin. He held a prominent position in the SECV. My wife and I only met Melville and Inez on only one occasion before he passed in 1967. He stood very proud and tall. Mum passed down some postcards he sent home from World War I, some of which were hand-made 'in the trenches' with some embroidery. I can pass on scanned images if a family member would like them.

Inez was my Grandfather's sister (John Carlisle) and i have fond memories of visiting her when i went to visit my Nanna in Yallourn- (my grandfather passed away in 1970 and Nanna in 1992). I would appreciate copies of the images to pass on to my mum. We had a small box of "memories" which included a letter from Uncle Melv during the war but they have been damaged in the mice plaque last year.
