My dad had a large vegie patch. He built a solid concrete walled garage with a large service pit. He also constructed a hydraulic (water) clothes line that went up and down by turning tap off/on. Our briquette heater had a water coil through it to produce hot water. I had a good time playing footy and cricket in Tanjil Place with all the kids. We had our own bush to play in and construct tree houses in.
