My father was the butcher and knew everyone! Very comfortable and warm home. Lots of cooking, music & visitors. Always busy. Meals and Meal times important. Much involvement in community. Mum won the Royal Agricultural Society Medal for the best home garden in Victoria in 1957 (John Pascoe Fawkner medal). Everything in Yallourn was of the best standard. Every person in the town had every opportunity to do well.
