Our house in 1967 had plywood lining, dark stained interior doors,2 fireplaces kitchen one with electric stove and lounge with wood heater. The toilet and wash house were in the back yard with the hot water service in the wash house.The exterior was painted cream rough weather boards and galvanized iron roof. It was modest but the family soon grew to big for it.
