The Old Pool is in the
The Old Pool is in the background. A Power line is visible as well, it is most likely that this line runs up Westbrook Road. There are no buildings up on Coach Road Hill. My Auntie lived in Westbrook Road and was there when the 1944 Bushfires occurred. There was no other buildings beyond Westbrook Rd at that time. So I would imagine that the picture was prior to 1944. Maybe the "59" was a bad "39".

Yes you can see Hernes Oak Hill in the background, the bushed area to the right of the photo is the undveloped area running from Parkway up to Coach Road. The area includes Uplands Road, Valley Road, the extension of Fairfield Avenue, Broadway West and Church Street.
