Many memories, but one sticks in my mind. New Years Day 1939 - we had been to Inverloch in Max Field's bus and on returning, found the bushfire that had threatened the town had burnt up to our back fence (no houses in Strzelecki Rd then); also our terrier had been bitten on teh nose by a snake and he did not survive.
