What a memory! I think as the camera travelled down Northway, there is my Mum walking to the shops, from 12 Northway towards the camera. In the shot looking up past the methodist Church, you can just see her walking up the hill..... It is very blurry but I believe it's Mum's snowy white hair.
That made the tears flow....
Wow and thanks for the walk down memory lane. Love the music Mike. Who are the artists and their songs please. They were very appropriate for the film footage.
Fabulous! So many memories in those precious 6 or so minutes. And the soundtrack was wonderful, very moving. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to producing and sharing this film. Yes, it made me cry too....Judy, daughter of Thelma Collinson (nee Sharman).
After viewing the film I then had a trip down memory lane looking at all the school photo's - again some very happy memories surfaced. What a wonderful site and so easy to negotiate....Jen H
You are to be congratulated for your work on keeping the memory of Yallourn alive. Maxine a Yallourn bred girl and me a blow-in from Yinnar who went to YHS were moved nearly to tears by ( Maxine only and I was the nearly) , Mike Hamilton's soundtrack . He should be nominated for a Oscar. The Burns with the video camera weren't to shabby either.
