Playing after school on the road where we had a cricket pitch, hopscotch, tennis court and other games painted on the road. As it was a dead end, the children of the street all played together - it was a great neighbourhood. Growing up in Yallourn helped to form some great friendships, some still to this day over 60 years from when we started school at the Yallourn State School.
